ARCHIVE
is a concept album consisting of material of the Iwalewahaus music archive, found sounds and field recordings. The core of the album is "Texture" – these textures were created through re-sampling, time-stretching techniques, synthesis and audio experimentation. All tracks reflect on transformation, trying to break concepts while aiming at global rave aesthetics and their roots. They are accompanied by 2D-graphics created from original cover artworks extracting digital artefacts, manipulating and transforming parts and shapes of various sources.
